Creative Manager – A&R / Publishing (Songwriter & Producer Roster)

Posted 7 August 2026
A&R, Publishing, Songplugger, Songwriter / Producer Manager

This is a hands-on creative A&R role for someone from an A&R, song plugging, or publishing background; or an experienced songwriter/producer manager. You'll be the engine behind getting our writers' songs cut: setting up the right writing sessions, pitching songs to A&Rs and artist camps, and building on your existing label relationships to create opportunities. You'll also look after our songwriter and producer roster on a management level and work across our publishing roster as we build it out internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Song Plugging & A&R
  • Actively pitch songs from our roster to label A&Rs, artists, managers, and music supervisors
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships with A&Rs across major and independent labels, in the UK and internationally
  • Stay ahead of who's exciting: which artists are cutting, what projects are in the works, and where our writers fit
  • Identify and secure writing sessions, camps, and collaborations that match our writers with the right artists and projects
  • Roster Management
  • Day-to-day management of our songwriter and producer roster: session scheduling, career strategy, and creative direction
  • Champion the songwriters - know their catalogues inside out and match the right song to the right opportunity
  • Support writers through the full cycle: session to demo to pitch to release
  • Publishing
  • Work across the publishing roster as it grows, contributing to signings, sub-publishing relationships, and international strategy
  • Liaise with publishers, sync teams, and collection societies as needed
  • Help identify new signing opportunities: emerging writers and producers who fit our vision

What we are looking for

  • Significant experience in A&R, song plugging, music publishing, or songwriter/producer management
  • A genuine network: you know most of the A&Rs, and they know you - your relationships open doors
  • A proven track record of getting songs cut and placed
  • Strong instincts for songs, writers, and where the market is heading - you know which artists are exciting before everyone else does
  • Comfortable managing creative talent: proactive, organised, and a natural relationship builder
  • Self-starting and entrepreneurial - you thrive in a growing company where you can shape the role
